When confronted on the streets or in your home by someone who is determined to kill you, you only have 2-3 seconds to act and stop the attack before your attacker can over power and kill you. You do not have the time to talk with, fight with or attempt to submit an attacker as there may be more than one attacker.
 
YOU MUST STOP THE ATTACK IMMEDIATELY.
 
During an attack, there is a high probability that you may suffer life threatening injuries if you attempt to draw a weapon before you stop the attacker from continuing their attack, especially if the attacker is wielding a knife or bludgeon weapon.
 
In today's world where there are numerous places where carrying a pistol, as well as a knife is strictly prohibited, effective hand to hand combative skills are essential.
 
LMI Integrated Street Combatives system integrates grappling, strikes, throws, and control techniques into an effective combative system designed to stop an attack.
 
This course will introduce students to the dangers of a real street attacker that is up close, in your face and wanting nothing more than to kill you. Students will learn simple but devastating techniques to stop the attack using nothing more than their bare hands, elbows, knees, feet and their will to win.
 
Students must be at least eighteen years of age.

This course will cover:  
 
  1. ‣Assessing a threat.
  2. ‣Improvised weapons
  3. ‣Anatomy target selection.
  4. ‣Defense against the knife, and other handheld weapons.
  5. ‣Using your attacker's momentum to your advantage.
  6. ‣Escapes from holds, chokes, bear hugs, etc.,
  7. ‣Ground fighting.
  8. ‣Developing a combat mindset.
  9. ‣How to deal with fear and its negative effects
 
For Law Enforcement and Security Professionals; All hand to hand combative techniques that we teach have been tested and are effective with full duty gear on. LMI can tailor the training to include ground control and cuffing techniques.
