Defensive Knife
Knives, whether it is a tactical folder or a basic kitchen knife, are readily available, easy to carry and conceal, and extremely lethal in the hands of a criminal.
Many people carry knives today with the intention that it can be used for personal defense. Carrying a knife with very little or no training is a tactical liability to yourself. However, having an edged weapon, or other small defensive tool and the knowledge to use it can tremendously increase your odds of winning a lethal attack.
This is a basic course and will introduce the student to the dangers of an attacker. Students will learn simple techniques to repel and if necessary, stop a lethal attack using empty hands, tactical folding knives and other improvised self defense weapons. A knife is an exceptional defensive tool, however, you must be proficient with it, understand how a criminal uses it, and you must have the proper mindset to be able to use it effectively, should you have to.
Students must be at least eighteen years of age to attend this training. No prior experience or equipment is needed. During the course of instruction, only training knifes and padded sticks are used.

Hourly Rates: $25 (four hours minimum)
For students wishing to continue their training past the basic defensive course, LMI offers continuos training with four hour advanced training sessions. This advanced training is also available to those students who already posses some defensive skills, but would like to enhance those skills, or learn defensive knife skills to augment those skills already learned.
Group Rates: LMI gives 25% discounts to all groups of 3 or more.
LMI can customize a 8-16 hour training session, to your needs. This group is great for Security Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, or anyone looking for defensive training against against chokes, grabs, and attacks. It is also useful for women looking to learn defensive against rapists, with emphasis on grabs and ground assaults. For Quality training purposes, group sizes are limited to 16 students.
