Fighting Pistol I

This course is for the shooter that has little or no experience with a pistol and wants to learn how to fight with one. Students will learn basic pistol fundamentals as well as manipulating their pistol under pressure while participating in exercises and scenarios designed to elevate their heart rate as they asses and engage realistic shoot and no-shoot targets. Students will learn basic room clearing tactics. This training helps with stress inoculation giving students greater advantages dealing with life threatening engagements. Conceal garments will be required during the second half of this course.

Students will also train force on force with professional Paintball equipment at the end of this course. This allows students to engage real moving targets that are shooting back and experience simulated dangers of a real gunfight but without the injuries.

LMI’s Fighting Pistol 1 course along with 6 hours of LMI’s classroom instruction qualifies for the State of Ohio Concealed Carry Handgun License. Please see our Concealed Carry Handgun Course for more information.
