Tactical Pistol 2
Links Home Services Contacts About Us
This course is for the shooter who carries or uses a pistol for personal defense, and demands higher levels of proficiencies with their pistol.  This course takes off where LMI’s TP-1 course ended, and re-iterates everything already learned.  This course emphasizes speed, accuracy and gun handling skills.  The shooter will be manipulating their pistol under high stress.  The shooter will be running and may even participate in jumping jacks which elevates the shooters heart rate.  This increased heart rate will expose the shooter to the realities similar to a real confrontation, forcing the shooter to experience what the body goes through, and how important the fundamentals are, and how important it is to have these skills deeply engrained.

The shooter will be exposed to numerous scenarios, where the shooter must assess each target, prior to engaging the targets.   The shooter will train tactically within a shoot house type environment, and will also be engaging stationary as well as multiple moving and pivoting targets.  This course is very challenging and demanding; you will not stand still during this course.

LMI’s Tactical Pistol I course, or equivalent, is required prior to attending this course.  600 rounds of quality ammunition are required for this course.

The following is a minimal list of equipment that is required for the student to bring to any 'live fire' defensive marksmanship course.
